Riga manager Adrián Guľa revealed that his current deal expires on November 30 and he remains uninformed regarding a potential extension, casting doubt on his status for the team’s December Conference League games.
The Slovak tactician commented following a scoreless stalemate in Ogre that his agreement lasts until November 30. He added that he remains prepared to conclude his tenure at Riga with high professionalism and deep respect. According to the coach, nobody has discussed an extension with him, meaning he can only guess whether it might happen or not. His attention remains on daily tasks, and he stands ready to honor his agreement through its final day.
Riga FC still has three fixtures left in the Conference League: a home match against Jablonec on Thursday, a home encounter versus Atalanta on December 10, and an away game against Borac on December 17. Additionally, the squad will face RFS in the Virsliga and square off against Auda in the Latvian Cup final on November 20.
On Sunday, RFS officially secured the league championship once again, meaning Riga FC missed out on the title for the fifth time across six campaigns.
