Following the statement by the United States President that Americans will consider the idea of establishing a permanent military base in Lithuania, Remigijus Baltrėnas, Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, says that the current troop deployment model is working, and in strategic terms Poland is a very good location for a permanent US base.
