Amid public criticism of President Gitanas Nausėda for not attending the anniversary commemoration of former President Valdas Adamkus, Minister of Foreign Affairs and former presidential advisor Kęstutis Budrys says that this "drama" is being created out of place and out of time, and that the questions being raised are unfounded.
