The Šiauliai District Court failed for the third time to open the case of the Šiauliai resident who attacked and injured basketball coach Darius Songaila. Artūras Bernotas, a defendant hiding behind illnesses, could not even be brought to court by police officers executing the court order, as they did not find him at the specified place of residence.
