Smuggling weather balloons that hit power lines and exploded in the Kėdainiai and Kaišiadoriai districts were carrying at least 15,000 packs of cigarettes. Border guards state that this method of smuggling has not disappeared anywhere, but its scale is about three times smaller than last year.
