President Gitanas Nausėda is calling for an advisory referendum on the concept of the family. Parliamentarian Vytautas Sinica says the proposal is not being submitted out of a great desire. Member of the Seimas Eugenijus Gentvilas states that he finds it strange that the president is speaking out against the constitutional doctrine and the ruling of the Constitutional Court regarding same-sex partnerships.
