The Šiauliai District Court has once again failed to open the case of the Šiauliai resident who assaulted and injured basketball coach Darius Songaila. The reason is the same: the defendant, Artūras Bernotas, failed to appear in court because he is allegedly ill. Therefore, it was decided to apply a coercive measure – to bring the defendant in by force.
