Following Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius' hint that future budget increases for the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) could depend on economic growth, Minister of Culture Lukas Alsys says that more clarity on the matter will emerge only after an assessment is carried out. The administration of the public broadcaster asserts that the most important thing is for the new funding model to be sustainable and independent of political decisions.
