Birutė Davidonytė, chair of the Association of Professional Journalists (APJ), says that the appointment of journalist and political analyst Vladimiras Laučius, who drove while intoxicated, to the Public Information Ethics Commission (PIEC) discredits trust in the entire institution. The latter is not commenting on the situation.
