Eriks Santos Departs Narva Trans After Two and a Half Years

The club has officially announced that Eriks Santos will no longer play for Narva Trans when the team competes in the Esiliiga next season. The Brazilian centre-back originally arrived two and a half years ago and ultimately accumulated more appearances for Narva Trans than for any other team throughout his entire professional career.

During his tenure, Santos appeared in 88 competitive fixtures for the Estonian club, managing to score two goals while also contributing four assists. Over the course of the recent campaign, he participated in 25 Premium liiga matches as Trans ultimately concluded the season positioned at the bottom of the league standings.

In an official statement, the club reflected on his time with them, noting that football involves more than just statistics. The organization highlighted that Eriks successfully earned the backing of football supporters in Narva and permanently secured his place in the history of the club, expressing certainty that other fans of Estonian football will also recall him.

Concluding their message, the management expressed gratitude to Santos for his dedication and professionalism, offered their best wishes for his future career, and remarked that their professional paths could potentially cross once more in the future.
